The importance of donating blood to the local blood supply heightens as we enter cold and flu season. During key times of year, the collection blood is impacted because less people are donating or unable to give. February is a month where the need to donate is significant and will directly save lives of patients of Avera Flandreau Hospital. The Flandreau High School FFA will host a community blood drive on Wednesday, February 27 from 7:30 am to 11:00 am and 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm. Join the movement to save lives through blood donation with Community Blood Bank.
