Center’s donor rooms between December 22, 2025 –
January 3, 2026. People donating blood during the
event will receive: “Heroes Perks” a 30th Year Heroes t-shirt, a Texas
Roadhouse free appetizer, a Papa Murphy’s large
signature pizza & 2 tickets to a SF Skyforce home game.
Donor gifts available while supplies last. Donors must be
at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 lbs and be in good
general health. You must bring a photo ID to your appointment.

Why Donate at Community Blood Bank? Your blood donation will stay local, serving patients at all Sioux Falls hospitals, and other regional healthcare facilities. Blood donations are tested, and typically reach a patient within 48 hours. Your donation will only take about 30 minutes, and will save up to 3 lives.

Eligible donors must be at least 17 years old (16 with parental consent found at cbblifeblood.org), weigh at least 110 pounds, and be in good general health. First-time donors are especially encouraged to participate, as they represent the future of our community’s blood supply. It is recommended that a person eat within 3 hours of their blood donation and drink plenty of fluids. Please bring a photo I.D. with you to the blood donation appointment.
The Community Blood Bank has served the greater Sioux Falls region since 1976, ensuring a safe, reliable blood supply for local hospitals and is a joint cooperative of Sanford USD Medical Center and Avera McKennan Hospital & University Health Center.
