Give the Gift of Life This April 15th
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — This spring, the opportunity to save lives is closer than you think. On Wednesday, April 15th, community members are invited to donate blood at the Dawley Farm Donor Center (1035 S. Highline Place, Sioux Falls) from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Every donation is a powerful act of generosity that directly benefits patients in our local community who are counting on donors just like you.
Our community hospitals and healthcare providers rely on a steady, local blood supply to treat patients facing emergencies, cancer treatments, surgeries, and more. A single donation has the potential to save up to three lives — and it only takes about an 30 minutes of your time.
“Blood donation is one of the most generous gifts a person can give. The patients who receive these donations are our neighbors, our family members, and friends. We are deeply grateful to everyone who rolls up their sleeve and gives the gift of life,” states Ken Versteeg, Executive Director, Community Blood Bank.

To be eligible to donate, individuals must be at least 17 years of age, weigh a minimum of 110 pounds, and be in general good health.
