With spring right around the corner and the need for blood donations continuing to increase as Sioux Falls grows, Community Blood Bank has developed a special promotion for our Friday donation crowds. This special event occurs Friday, March 7th, Friday, March 14th, Friday, March 21st, and Friday, March 28th. Donate blood on any Friday in one of our donor rooms, at Avera McKennan Hospital (Avera McKennan, Plaza 2, (4th Floor) 1301 S. Cliff Ave., Sioux Falls, SD) or Sanford USD Medical Center (Main Hospital Lobby, 1305 W. 18th St., Sioux Falls, SD) and receive a $15 gift card from our friends at Blarney Stone, and a certificate for a pint of your fav brew. To schedule your donation log onto www.cbblifeblood.org, select “give now”, and choose your donor room or call 605-331-3222.
Donors must be at least 17 years old (16 years old with a signed parent consent form), weigh 110 lbs. or more and be in good general health. It is recommended that a person eat and drink plenty of fluids prior to donating blood. Please bring an ID with you at the time of donation.
